At Ex Populus, some of us remember playing Mike Tyson’s Punch Out as kids and can recount the tactics required to defeat opponents like King Hippo as we climbed the ladder to face the Baddest Man on the Planet. We were all hunkered around our 1980s tube tvs with the flickering magic of the NES 8-bit graphics immersing us into new and imagined worlds without realizing that these experiences would help shape our generation.
That’s why today, Ex Populus is beyond excited to announce its collaboration with Mike Tyson and his partners at 1ofOne. Together, we’ve created a new collection of art and a set of trading cards named Iron Pigeons, celebrating Mike Tyson’s love for Pigeons, Web3 and video games. All the details available about the project can be found at the Iron Pigeons website.
Iron Pigeons will all be completely unique, algorithmically generated images of Pigeons based on dozens of traits from award winning artists. Each NFT will include a link to a high resolution of the artwork, in addition to a trading card.
If you’re already a part of the Ex Populus community, then you know about our DAGs project and its expansion into a trading card game. We are excited to announce that Mike Tyson’s Iron Pigeons will be a part of this game and Metaverse, with full compatibility to play together with GigaUnits collectors.
